A technically functional site underperforming on the searches its buyers were running. Average position sat around 18, buried on page two. Organic search brought real traffic but at a fraction of the volume the addressable audience justified. The product was strong. The site was not built to rank at the right depth.

Technical foundation

Rebuilt URL structure, added schema for a B2B product site, fixed rendering on JavaScript-heavy product pages, and set up internal linking matched to how buyers navigate the category.

Content and category architecture

Built out page and category architecture around the buyer's decision tree. Rewrote underperforming pages with verifiable technical depth. Filled topic gaps with pages structured around the questions enterprise buyers actually ask.

Authority work

Industry publication outreach, directory placements, and backlinks from inside the right ecosystem. The kind of authority a buyer in a regulated industry recognizes as legitimate.

Average position climbed from 17.8 to 8.1, a jump of 9.7 spots and a move from page two to the top of page one. Search impressions doubled from 52K to 103K. Organic sessions grew 31%.

Click growth lags impressions because the site is now showing for a much broader set of queries, including discovery-phase searches with lower CTR. Visibility expanded faster than the existing content depth. Clicks will follow as the long-tail content matures.
